Use !ip6 to analyze an Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) address and retrieve detailed information about its allocation, ownership, routing, registry assignment, geolocation hints, DNS metadata, and operational characteristics.

IPv6 is the successor to IPv4 and provides a vastly expanded address space for Internet-connected systems. IPv6 addresses operate at OSI Layer 3 (Internet Layer) and are used for routing, addressing, and global connectivity across modern Internet infrastructure.

!ip6 accepts an IPv6 address and returns information including Regional Internet Registry (RIR) allocation data, organization and network ownership, Autonomous System Number (ASN) origin, BGP routing metadata, announced route prefixes, reverse DNS hostnames, address classification, and geolocation hints.

!ip6 supports globally routable addresses as well as special-purpose IPv6 addresses, including link-local, unique-local, multicast, loopback, unspecified, documentation, transition, and other reserved address ranges defined by the IETF and the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA).

For any IPv6 address, !ip6 may provide information about the managing RIR, geographical location, organization, short and long notation forms, IPv6 address type, allocation data, designation details, relevant RFC references, ASN origin, BGP announced prefix, base-10 and binary representations, and hyperlinks to related Internet and IPduh resources.

Usage:
<ipv6-address>
!ip6 <ipv6-address>
!ip <ipv6-address>

Usually, you do not need to prefix your query with !ip or !ip6
