Search the IEEE 802 MAC Organizationally Unique Identifier (OUI) registrations and other related data repositories.
Search for full or partial organization names, and full or partial Wireshark short names.
OUIs are registered to organizations, usually hardware vendors.Organizations may register one or more IEEE Organizationally Unique Identifier (OUI).
IEEE 802 MAC OUIs are used in the creation of EUI-48 MAC addresses, EUI-64 MAC addresses, and MAC addresses that are not "unique" with prefixes registered in the Company-ID IEEE registry.
Ethernet interfaces, 802.11 wireless network interfaces (WiFi),Bluetooth interfaces , ATM interfaces, IEEE 802.5 token ring interfaces ,and FDDI interfaces are some of the devices that are using EUI-48 MAC addresses.
EUI-64 addresses are used among others in Firewire interfaces, IPv6 automatic interface addressing, and IEEE 802.15.4 (Zingbee addressing).
